Kunskapsverket (roughly "the Knowledge Bureau") is a Swedish nonprofit, nonpartisan organisation founded in 2022 by Claes Ekström, Bengt Baron, and Johanna Jeansson with the aim to help people navigate a fragmented media landscape, overwhelming data and a polarized debate on complex and key societal issues.
Kunskapsverket differs from other research centers in that it synthesizes existing knowledge – drawing on a combination of official data, published research and interviews – into accessible, in-depth reports on key societal issues such as income inequality, crime, taxes or pollution.
All Kunskapsverket's results are shared publicly and free of charge on kunskapsverket.org. When a report is published, Kunskapsverket also actively seeks to connect with political parties and use social media to spread its knowledge to a wider audience.
